Three men in their forties who have never worn a military uniform suddenly find themselves drafted into the army as part of a special initiative targeting those who never completed compulsory service.

A children's theatre actor, a bus driver, and an IKEA department manager are thrown into basic training at midlife, where they must confront not only military discipline but also questions of fatherhood, masculinity, friendship, and the absurdity of starting over.
