Theatre and Television Creator
Rather than treating theatre and television as separate disciplines, Drigues has built his career around the conversation between them. Whether writing, directing or adapting, his work explores how the two forms can continually inform one another. He is currently based between Italy and Tel Aviv.
Alongside his television work, Drigues has developed a significant career in the Israeli theatre world as a playwright, director, translator and dramaturg.
His productions have been staged by Israel’s leading repertory theatres, including Gesher Theatre, Beit Lessin Theatre and HaKameri Theatre. He recently served as Head Dramaturg of HaBima National Theatre.
His international work includes participation in the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab in New York and a two-time sell-out production at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. His television work continues to reach international audiences through adaptations and development deals in multiple territories.
In 2026, he was admitted to the University of Cambridge MSt in Writing for Performance, where he will continue developing his artistic practice within an international creative community.
